I just made a beautiful Sourdough bread in this pot! Recipe is from the Staub cookbook. It was perfect!!
The was perfectly browned on the outside and and soft on the inside.
I use this size for smaller family meals. Excellent searing and browning for stew meats. It's everything you would expect from a Staub cast iron. the innovative black matte interior will not stain!! Use your exotic spices!!

The great white cocotte!!!

This white cocotte is wonderful, a neutralizer in my kitchen cooking should be fun and exciting!! This size is great for cooking soups and sauces, baking bread, even perfect deep frying, braising meat, pot pie, just everything a pot can do.
It is manageable cocotte size, a 4qt. is perfectly, it is light and small, great size to serve from 4 to 6 people.
Its interior matte texture results in exceptional browning meat and will be great nonstick pot even though it is not a nonstick pot, it performs really well stirring, flipping and turning food in this pot.
Heavy weight, tight-fitting lid retains moisture, tiny spikes on the lid interior continually release condensed liquid back onto the food, yielding moist, flavorful results. Oven safe up to 900F/482C without lid, Lids are oven safe up to 500F/260C.
Smooth enamel bottom works on all stovetops, including gas, electric, glass, ceramic, induction, and halogen. It is dishwasher safe.

Good quality and design, perfect size for cooking

I love this 4qt size as it is perfect size for all kind of recipe. Rememebr this pot gives aroma rain inside from the lid, so you don't have to consider leave a lot of head space for water or soup.
I will for sure recommend this to family and friends.

My pan arrived completely shattered and it has been a month and Zwilling has still failed to send out the replacement as they said. It is impossible to speak to anyone regarding this and emails are never responded to.

The unique white truffle color is sure to look perfect in any kitchen. The 4qt size is essential for feeding 2-4 people and the cast iron is the ideal vessel for cooking everything.

Saw this great color and thought it might be time to purchase a Staub Cocotte. The self basting lid keeps food nice and moist. I make one pot meals and enjoy serving them in this.
