Poor design on block

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dislike and will return if i can- the knives on middle row are not aligned and flop around. Really surprising engineering. I have multiple henckels sets.

Decent not great

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knives cut well and the self sharpening block is a great idea but it wasn't executed well. They're not very well balanced and are heavy in the handle, which causes them to sit awkwardly in the block. The pairing knife looks like it's ready to fall out.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love the built in self sharpener. Love the stainless handles and the dark block on my counter. But having a sharp set of knives is the icing on the cake.

Knives are sharp everytime I use them because of the self-sharpening slots. Love the stainless look and dark block is a great complimentary color. Enjoy using these knives daily.

Modern looking set with contoured metal handle. Fantastic assortment of forged knives Daughter with recently updated kitchen couldn't wait to place this modern looking set on her new counter tops. German stainless steel knives that start sharp and stay sharp thanks to the self-sharpening block. Like that additional steak knives are available online.

This is all you need in a knife block set. super sleek and modern, yet has a classic feel to me!! Steak knives complete this set!! the knives are super sharp every time due to the microscopic sharpening. I love this set!!
