The self-sharpening block is a nice feature.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

New Knives!

The self-sharpening is super nice and it's one thing I don't have to think about!u. The hand feel of the knives is also good... feels like quality with a little bit of weight behind it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband recently bought me the knife set as an early Christmas gift due to the fact that our old knifes were completely dull! He would see me struggling to make dinner and now I can finish up in no time, in one swift motion the meat is sliced! They are super nice and I love how inside the knife holders there are sharpen stones inside!!! So the knife never dulls

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We got these knives you replace our 10 year old Henckels set. These knives look great, feel very sturdy, and cut extremely well. Only time will tell how they age, but so far we're very satisfied.

Knives cut clean and smooth, no more hacking my way through carrots. They have a nice weight and balance in my hand. I gave it only 4 stars because the stand is much longer than it is tall and takes up more space on the counter than our previous chopping block.
