Snag that set!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was kinda skeptical about spending such a large amount of money since I was just starting out in the culinary world but boy is this worth it! Knives are very sharp out of the box and of course there's the icing on the cake - the self sharpening block. The Santoku seems a bit dull but when slices through meat as if it were butter. Caution - beware of the paring knife - it's sharpened to an overkill! Overall great investment.

Prevents strain from pressing too hard due to dull knives. I love the dark color wood of the knife block. The variety of knives included in the set are perfect for all my needs in the kitchen.
