Great knives, block not the best

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These knives come nice and sharp and are well balanced in your hand. Only downside is that the small knives sit loosely in the block. But, I would not let this keep anyone from purchasing this product.

Great Knives, Not Impressed with Knife Block

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the knives, especially the way the bolster isn't incorporated in the heel of the knives. No complaints on the quality of the knives. The only reason I'm giving a 4/5 is the knife block. To me, it's clear their using the same block for multiple set options. I understand the benefits of limiting SKU's and going lean, however priced at $350+, it'd be worth designing a dedicated block to give consumers that satisfying fit (I'm assuming the block is one of the cheaper cost of the set).
Knife Block Pro/Con:
Pro - 6 steak knife slots so you can order what you want
Pro - bamboo (yay environment right?)
Con - sloppy fit, knives have between 1/8" to 1" room to move left to right and a couple 1/8" up, with this set you put the birds beak in a slot twice the knife's width
Con - scissors don't go in to the handle so it sits crooked, needs to be wider

Best bang for your buck!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Everything about this knife set screams quality and performance. Razor sharp edges out of the box and easy to sharpen. Maintains an edge for a good while. I used these at work for a week of constant regular usage before having to sharpen one of them. Not to mention that they were a fraction of the price of the competitors. 5 out of 5 stars.

Best Knives Ever!!
