Great Knives, Bad Block

The knives are perfect. The quality is unparalleled. The knife block, on the other hand, is disappointing. It's really nice looking, but the knives don't fit tightly. it feels like the smaller knives will fall out if the block is touched or moved. The pictures show the range of movement. I think we may end up using the old knife block, unfortunately.

Just received this 11pc set. Excellent knives. I wish you offered a 6pc steak knife set? So I can fill in the block!

This set was purchased accidentally . It was purely my fault as I had 2 in my checkout so I could compare. I attempted to call the next day to change the order which was not able to be done. Again my fault. In short I had to wait for delivery.... request shipping label then reorder the forged set vs the stamped set and pay shipping.
Henckle knives are the absolute best ( this is my second set) or I would never go through all this to get the set I wanted.

I'm so glad I finally got a great set of knives! These are spectacular! And I have NO problem with the knife block. The set looks great and works wonderfully.

Can't go wrong with a knife made in Germany. Super sharp! Good weight for me since I don't like a heavy knife.
