This block has everything knife you need in a kitchen. Pro knives are made from German Special Formula Steel and forged from one piece of steel so durable for a lifetime, and that's their warranty - lifetime. The bolster is curved and perfect to hold with pinch grip. The knives are also ice hardened which translates to the blade starting sharp and staying sharper longer. The bamboo block is neutral enough to fit into any kitchen decor. Love that the slots have are angled to accommodate the curved bolster.

Great knife set

I love the "Pro" line of knives because the handles on them are so comfortable with the shape and the material that they are made out of and that the blade is super sharp. There is also a feature that I haven't seen in a knife before where the metal is curved where the blade meets the handle to give my fingers a place to rest while chopping. This is a great set that includes extra spaces for me to expand my collection if and when I want to get more. I also love how this block includes spaces for steak knives so that all my knives can be stored in one place.

7 piece Pro knife block set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though there are only 4 knives in this set, there is everything I need. They feel great and are super sharp. The only thing to consider, the block is bulky for housing 4 knives, 1 scissor, and 1 sharpening steel. Plenty of room for steak knives and more knives.

Beautiful and functional knives

Exceptional quality, the Pro line of Zwilling knives are a step above anything else I've used. Made with Zwilling special formula steel, these knives are made in Germany, and feature sharp angles, curved bolster and blade, as well as a full tang.
If you are serious about using a knife that's built to last, comfortable, easy to handle and improves your cutting skills, you will enjoy these knives as much as I do. This block has every knife you need to work well in the kitchen and comes at a price much more affordable than purchasing individual pieces.

Smooth cutting, great storage block

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] knew immediately when I first took the knives out of the box that they were special. I have never held a knife with such heft and feeling of quality. The knife set is also very pleasing on the eyes as well. Following the directions to place my index finger and thumb directly on the heel of the blade has really worked well and makes the knives very comfortable to use. I am so happy that I read the reviews and to a leap of faith to purchase the most expensive knife set of my life. I can honestly say now that this knife set is well worth the price in quality. I feel it was an excellent investment in quality cutlery.
