Small but Mighty! I live alone so this size is just perfect for me for more dishes than I can count. I use it for small pots of chili, stew for one, macaroni and cheese, i have even baked a small loaf of bread for myself. All the benefits of the larger cocottes but for a smaller household.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Perfect for the Two of Us

The lid design provides a rain forest effect during cooking, producing superbly moist beef and chicken. The black interior makes clean-up super easy - but be sure to let the pot cool
down before cleaning. Haven't tried baking bread yet but should work well because you the cocotte can preheat in the oven as it preheats.

Staub consistently delivers fantastic cast iron products. The 4-qt cocotte is a great middleground between our large ones for a feast and our 2.75-qt (other brand) for cooking sides or for single/couples dishes. The graphite gray has a nice tone that complements the dark blue one we have.
