I love the look for this block, with that dark wood and stainless cap! The Four-Star knives are a great quality they stay sharp for a long time especially when you have this self sharpening block there’s a little add maintenance required. For a forged set these knives are on the lighter side perfect for doing a lot of prep work.

Four Star is a classic! On the market since the 1970's this knife has stood the test of time and still looks fresh and relevant.
The molded handle feels secure and fits nicely into the hand. The balance is great and the edge stays sharp due to the ice-hardening process.
The self sharpening is an added bonus to this block providing you with a sharp knife every time it's pulled out of the block!

Attractive storage block in dark wood with matte stainless faceplate, does dual duty as a sharpener. Keep your knives sharp each time you remove and return them to their designated slot. The paring slot also sharpens straight edge steak knives, which can be safely stored in the additional slots.

So happy to have this collection in a self sharpening block! The knives are sharp, sturdy and balanced. Good news, they will keep that way with this block. I like having the extra slots to add my steak knives.

I purchased the Four Star set for my parents for Christmas. They love their knives. Very happy with the quality and weight. The only drawback is they do not sharpen them. This built in sharpening block would've been a great alternative. Love the dark wood.

Four Star knives are one of Zwilling’s best collections. The high carbon stainless steel cuts through anything with ease. The knife is on the lighter side, which is great if you are cutting for long extended periods of time, or if you need a light knife for arthritis, etc.. The block set assortment is great and not an overabundance of knives. Also since it’s in a self-sharpening block, you don’t have to worry about your knives dulling out or having to sharpen them, such a great aspect to the knife set!
