Sometimes you just want to reach for the perfect sized prep knife and this set fills that bill perfectly with both a fine edge and a serrated. You are getting the finest quality steel that retains its sharpness with the comfort of the curved bolster and perfectly weighted handle. My 5.5" prep is my favorite knife behind my 8" chef.

Although there are other knives in the world, if you only have room for 2 these are the 2! This size is perfect for prep and light cooking. having a serrated and regular in the same size is great. We eat out a lot so we don't need a big set, but we do prep lunches and do some light cooking at home. This is all I need, the serrated cuts tomatoes and bread nicely and the other knife does pretty much everything else

I love these knives!

I use these knives every day to cut up apples for my kids and love that I don't have to pull out a larger knife, like my chef's knife, for smaller fruits and vegetables. I also love how I don't hit my knuckles like I do if I use a paring knife.

This is what I consider icing on the cake. Its the perfect set to add to your knife collection.
I use the knife for quick jobs. I like the serrated prep - absolutely perfect for tomatoes.
The knives have the famous curved bolster which is so comfortable when you use a pinch grip. Lifetime warranty says it all.

Bought this set because it was priced right for two knives. These prep knives are perfect for getting through smaller jobs that would normally call for a chefs knife. I love having the serrated one because I never have to worry about sharpening and I can use it for just about everything in the kitchen.
