Most of what I do is prep...not like TV shows

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm sick to death of trying to use a chef knife or one of the other 15 knives I bought from another manufacturer that are too big and too dull for my lady hands to the point where I would get hand cramps. That is even after sharpening or cleaning their "teeth." (My biggest pet peeve are TV shows that say it takes five minutes to cook a dish. What they leave out is the hour of veg prep.) These knives are the perfect size for me. My new knives have a smooth slope to the handle that doesn't hold veg or food debris, and they are smooth to clean. The blade on one is the perfect arc to "rock" when chopping, and the other blade is slightly arc'd depending on what I'm chopping. ...and sharp as razors!

I have some of the older models and they have a better design in terms of the protection from the blade next to the handle. If you slip your hand forward on the handle, your finger will hit a very thin, almost sharp, part of the knife blade. The older ones had a protective splay of steal to prevent this.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

These knives are the finest kitchen cutting instruments I have ever used. Just wish it had not taken me until later life to discover them. I conducted a little experiment with a group of friends who were visiting. I had a loaf of bread and asked each of them to cut off a slice with the Pro bread knife. There was a look of astonishment on their faces as the knife slid effortlessly thru the bread. Each said it was the finest bread knife they had ever used. The same performance level if noted with every Pro knife I have. They are wonderful! I intend to buy all my grown children these wonderful knives.

I have the Pro set, but my new favorite is the prep knife. And here I could get an extra prep and a serrated prep. They are my go to knives.

This set is a must have, whether you already have Pro knives or not. Perfect in-between size for completing so many cutting tasks. My Pro block set would not be complete without these awesome prep knives.

If you're looking for an incredible prep knife, might as well get two! This set is one of my favorites and I use both of the knives every single day. The bolster could not be more comfortable and the blades make cutting anything, super seamless. For the price, it's 100% worth it!

Perfect Size, Kitchen Must Haves

These knives are great for preparing a small meal...the serrated knife is great for cutting tomatoes, bagels, cucumbers, and the prep knife rounds out the meal prep when cutting and dicing other vegetables. I use these everyday, breakfast through dinner prep.

This set allows you to do anything you need to in the kitchen. These Prep Knives are perfectly designed for anyone who doesn’t like using larger chef knives, while also keeping the curved bolster and slight curve of the blade that lets you have a rock and roll motion while cutting.
