This is a great, very sturdy cast iron dutch oven. Came just in time to make a big pot of chicken and rice soup. Soup came out great and kept well in the fridge for reheating. Looking forward to trying some stews and breads in this soon!

The PERFECT pot!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] LOVE this pot! I've only used Le Creuset before, and this is just as good. The black is a nice matte color (not shiny/glossy) with a gold color knob that adds a really nice touch. It's a little bigger than I was expecting. The 4 qt is a great middle size pot for cooking - big enough for soups or stews. I've used the cheaper brand enameled cast irons before, and they just don't hold up as well. It's just worth spending the money to buy the high end brands, especially when they have a lifetime warranty. Definitely recommend!
