Samurai sword not a knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received as a wedding gift. To play fruit ninja with this knife would probably be worth the price. :-) Expensive but probably the sharpest and most elegant knife I’ve ever used.

The perfect wedding gift

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're both home cooks and put this knife on our registry as a wishlist item. My husband's boss purchased it for us, and we've loved it ever since! While it is a bit intimidating to use at first (blade is extremely sharp - a good thing in a knife, not so much for fingers...), we now love it and fight over who gets to use it. We're never going back to our old knives - now we just need more!

Excellent Santoku Knife

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have and love several other high end knives, both Japanese style and "western". I bought the Miyabi Birchwood Santoku as a gift for my wife who loves Japanese style knives but does not love the daily care routine rhat some of them require. This knife is beautiful, we'll balanced, ad of course sharp. But what really blows me away is how long it retains an edge.
Long story short, the gift to my wife became a gateway drug and we are already at 4 other Miyabi knives (Birchwood and black) on our kitchens counter.
I would recommend this to a friend!
