[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Im really happy with this purchase. I knew I was going to spend some money on a quality set of knives for my home. I'm very happy with these. I'm not in love with how these knives feel in my hand but that's my only dislike. This set came with the different knives I needed and no extras.

Beautiful and Necessary Set

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This set of basic knives contains what I generally need for cooking at home. The knives are so sharp. I love the fact that they are made in Germany. Upon opening, they were neatly packed inside its box. The knife block and shears are made in China but they both seem to be well made, sturdy and even-surfaced. I’m looking forward to preparing many meals with this set. There’s also an additional slot in the block if in case I decide to add a santoku or another knife (but its too small a slot for a cleaver.) Even though it did not come with a cleaver and steak knives, its okay since I rarely chop huge chunks of meat / bones and I prefer steak knives that would go better aesthetically with my flatware.
