[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just received these as a gift. They are very sharp and appear to be excellent quality. Looking forward to lots of use with these knives. My only complaint is the knife block does not have a slot for a cleaver that I just ordered to add to my set.

Knife set for a new generation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My parents received this knife set 30 years ago as a wedding present. These are the knives I grew up with and learned how to cook with. When it came time to buy my own set, there was no doubt in my mind that it would be the ZWILLING J.A. Henckels Four Star Anniversary 8-pc. They’ve definitely updated the block and handles, but I can’t wait to share these knives with my own family for generations to come.

Nice but lighter than expected
