Traditional and Durable

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My father is a chef and has used the same Four-Star knives for more than 30 years. He got me this set as an early Christmas gift as my previous block set from another manufacturer has slowly dwindled from breakage. I love the weight, sharpness and balance of these knives.

Does it's job greatly

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far I have used the chef's knife for slicing blood sausages. The knife was really sharp and sliced the sausages well without tearing the skin of the sausage much. Surely did its job way better than a knife that I had before.
My previous one had a shorter blade with an exposed full tang. This Four star knife has a longer blade (8”) and not sure if it has a full tang or not, it feels a bit lighter on the handle side. Feels comfortable during the use.

Sharp but Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive our new knife set and when I opened the box I was…a little disappointed. The knives are exceptionally sharp and since I haven’t put them to the test I can’t speak to how long they will keep their edge.
I was surprised at how lightweight the blades for the prep and paring knife are. Sometimes this can be helpful but we’ll see. I was disappointed that the knives are not true “full tang”. The handles look like soft plastic and the blade does not run through the handle. I’ll give these a shot and hopefully I’m pleasantly surprised. The reviews are nothing but 4-5 stars and I know Zwilling has a good reputation so I’m hopeful.
