40 years use from a great set

I purchased this set 40 years ago while serving in Germany in the US Army. They have been great, retaining a sharp edge. I hand sharpen them a few times a year on the Zwilling two sided sharpening stone. I also enforce a no-dishwasher rule, and ask that everyone "wash Dad's knives as soon as you are done with them and put them back".

Why did I wait so long?

I love the light weight feeling of my ZWILLING knives as I have arthritis in my hands and cannot tolerate heavy knives. They cut so easily without me having to apply too much pressure on my wrists. Love them so far!
