I had received a set of these knives as a wedding gift almost 30 years ago. Through a few mishaps, a couple of them were lost. I gave the rest of the set to my son, and bought this new set for myself.

Knifes are very sharp I have had the set for 2 weeks.
I use the Chefs knife and Paring knife
most I ensure before every use to hone the blades also I recommend a good wood cutting board to a plastic or glass board.
This set of knifes are great for heavy work loads fast and smooth keeps a good edge while preping fruits and veggies also stays sharp trimming and butchering meat.
A great set of knifes for the consumer looking for qualit and price.

I bought my first 4 star knives over 30 years ago in Europe. I use them every day. they get professionally sharpened once a year. They are just as good now as the day I bought them.
Whenever I see them on a gift registry I buy them. I know they will be enjoyed frequently for many years to come.

My wife and I bought these knives when we first got married and like our marriage they are still going strong. I just sharped them and they cut like the first day we bought them. Worth the money and when amortized over 28 years - dirt cheap.
