It is forged blade and so comfortable on your hand

It is light and forged blade. FOUR STAR 8pc. block set is one of the top-selling knife series of ZWILLING J.A. Henckels worldwide. These FRIODUR blades are harder, sharper, durable, it should stand rusting and corrosion. It retain their sharpness longer for it is high carbon steel and signatured ice-hardening technique.

I am so pleased with this knife set. I have small hands and this knife feels safe and comfortable. They are light weight but do heavy weight jobs.
My favorite is the little prep knife....use it on everything!

Fantastic block set

Four Star knives are one of Zwilling’s best collections. The high carbon stainless steel cuts through anything with ease. The knife is on the lighter side, which is great if you are cutting for long extended periods of time, or if you need a light knife for arthritis, etc.. The block set assortment is one of the best I’ve seen, you literally would use every knife, and not have an overabundance of knives.

I purchased a four star set 12 years ago and they are still perfect. The handles are still in great shape, no rust on knives.

For decades this set of knives has adorned a family members' kitchen counter. Love the feel and shape of the seamless handles and long lasting sharpness of the blades. Open slots in block permit addition of other profile blades to customize set.
