Great set of knives

My father purchased a set of Zwilling/J.A. Heckel knives for me as a gift 25 years ago and they had just started loosing their edge so I bought a new set directly from Zwilling. To say they meet expectations is to be modest. They are actually more lightweight than my original set, but I like that better. I wasn't that enamored with the chopping knife until I actually used it to chop up parsley. It's so sharp! And the serrated utility knife is perfect for the tomatoes that I cut all the time. I used to use my chef's knife for everything, but now that I have the others, I mostly use it to prepare meat and certain vegetables. Great knives. I'm planning order order the set's smaller utility knife when I have a chance.

I like the weight of it, it is sharp and does not have any issues cutting what I need, and it was on sale so it feels like a bit of a steal

My dad has owned a pair of swilling knifes since birth. He said it is one of the most important tools in the kitchen and i agree I had gotten a swilling knife from target and it only has one henkel on it versus the two my dad the more henkels the better the set so here we are my first set very happy so far with this purchase.

There are 3 empty slots in the face of the block. It’s kind of misleading that the block is included in the 8 Piece. I was expecting 8 actual knives.

My first zwilling

This set is my first experience with zwilling. I heard that this is really good set but never get a chance to buy it. Now I see that why my friends recommend this knieves. It is so sharp and sturdy. I love that I have this set in my kitchen.
