[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have worked in my share of kitchens and I would’ve been happy to have this set of knives even in a professional setting. The ergos on these are great. They don’t want to rotate around in your hand, and they’re well balanced. Out of the box, they were razor sharp (of course). The factory edge face on a few had minute imperfections, likely from shipping and what-not, but those were easily ironed out with, at most, 4-6 swipes of the steel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't realize what I was missing out on. I received these knives for my birthday and LOVE them! They cut through everything like butter. So easy to use, no more sawing through things.

Nice set,could use a few refinements/improvements

Knives seem well made and balanced. Only had a chance to use a few of them briefly, but so far they seem to perform well. Not sure I’m in love with the finish on the handles, but they are acceptable. The block is huge and not as refined as it should be. There at very small chips in the finish at the bottom and found one slot had a chunk of wood that prevented me from inserting a knife. Our previous knife set (cheap farberware) had a block the stood taller and thus took up less counter space. Overall, nice set that could use a few refinements/improvements.
