This is the biggest cast iron oval baking dish that Staub makes. I use it for holiday dinners, you can do scalloped potatoes to chicken and rice dishes. I have even cooked a turkey breast in it. The heat capability is amazing, and it will stay hot for hours, especially important for a holiday meal. Safe for use on all types of heat sources, including gas, electric, and induction, and oven safe up to 500F. Chip resistant and dishwasher safe.

This is a great dish for a spinach and artichoke dip! It browns perfectly on top and stays hot for a long time due to the excellent heat retention properties.

great roasting results

Im very happy with this cast iron roaster. The enamel coating means no seasoning and an easy cleanup. The matte interior lets fats and oils underneath allowing for superior browning and searing with an easy release. The natural properties of cast iron mean even heating and great heat retention. Its great for vegetables, amazing potatoes or a nice roast. I like to bring it right to the table to serve out of. The oval shape adds a softness over the traditional rectangle roaster design.
