HP should be ashamed of themselves for charging so much for such poor quality. The color coming out is horrible; I have even cleaned the heads several times. As much as HP charges for ink they should give the printers away!

Hello Lars I am sorry that you had this problem. However it is likely that the printhead inside the printer was clogged up and that is what caused most of the problems with the color that you are seeing. When the tiny inkjets in the printhead clogged and not allowing ink to flow properly through to the paper the cleaning routine can be used to clear them out. The routine might need to be run more than once to clean out the clogs completely. To prevent these problems: - Turn the printer off when it is not being used - Always use the power button on the printer itself to turn your printer off. That gives it time to position the cartridge so it is protected from excessive drying which leads to clogs. Mary HP Care hp.com/support
