These cartridges hardly last and even when you print in black and white you need color cartridges. I swapped out another one of these printers for another and I am much happier with the ink situation. Will be doing the same with this printer too not to deal with the ink.

Hello George I am concerned that you wrote your cartridges hardly last. That is not the result we want for our customers. I can share tips to maximize your printing results. - Track how many pages you print and the items on them. Photos graphics tables and designs contribute to ink depletion. - Doing test prints is a common habit that inadvertently wastes ink. - Conduct printer maintenance and cartridge maintenance cycles on the printer. - As for needing color cartridges the ink blends with colors for specific text colors.
