Well I bought this ink and it lasted for maybe fifty copies. I do love my hp printer but I definitely need xl cartridges instead of just standard cartridges. Otherwise good product and quality when printing. Wish it gave more ink. I would use the ck again just not the standard cartridges.
This printer is a delight--simple to set up, easy to use. I like that the color cartidges are in one pack. My other printer has three separate packs plus the black.
The ink is great when it's there. I have never gone thru ink cartridges as fast as with this printer. I am printing a project which should take "some" ink. Not 3 cartridges. No way
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Hi,
I am sorry that you were disappointed by the cartridges.
Ink usage of the cartridge will determine how long it lasts in your printer (unless it was damaged or defective). High-density prints (such as images and graphs) will use more ink, especially if the paper is highly absorbent and the air is dry.
Here are some things that might help lower your ink usage: - Most people have found that the XL version of the cartridges are a much better value. - Make use of the printer's draft mode whenever possible, to help stretch out black, and colored ink - Using the black-only setting, when appropriate, will save on colored ink usage. - Shut the printer down between uses; however, always use the power button on the printer itself to turn it off. That gives it time to ‘park’ so that the cartridges are protected from excessive drying. - Consider getting Instant Ink. The subscription plans let you pay by the page.
