Called tech support about problem with old printer (which got fixed over the phone) and decided to upgrade/update to the ENVY 7850 all in one. Received it within 3 days of my call along with ink. Took about 10-15 min to install. Printer more compact than old one
I have used this style cartridge only twice, as have not had the printer that uses this, very long. My first impression was the colors were not as good as the old type. However the second set does seem to be better than the first set. With this style you cannot see the ink level in the cartridge, even though the printer does tell you the availability. It is easy to put in. There ae only two cartridges to deal with instead of several. As I do not need anything to be extra bright, sharp, or whatever, this is just fine for my needs. Do wish ink was a bit cheaper though. Overall, satisfied. Only had one other printer, and it used HP ink too, which was fine. Am not an aficionado over these things, just know if it works for me or not, and it does.
I bought this printer recently because I was tired of having to look for disappearing ink cartridges,and then waiting weeks for my online order of same. The printer is wireless and easily connected to both my Samsung phone and my iPad tablet. So convenient!
Printer hp Envy 6255 is about a year old and the ink is dripping from cartridge and ran out. I bought 2 new cartridges, black and color and printer is still not printing. Cartridge is still dripping and it is brand new. very disappointed in the whole product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I'm sorry that you didn't have a very satisfying experience with the cartridge you were sent. It sounds like it must have been damaged, because the cartridge would not normally leak.
