Hello! We are so sorry to hear that your new iPad is already giving you trouble with the touch screen. Having to reboot your device every time you want to use it is definitely not the experience we want for you, especially only ten days in.
Usually, common screen errors can easily be fixed by completing a few troubleshooting steps:
1. Start with a force restart by quickly pressing and release the Volume Up button, then volume down, then hold the Top Power button until the Apple logo appears, then let go.
2. Update your phone to the latest iPadOS version available.
3. Rule out physical interference: -Clean the screen: Use a soft, lint-free microfiber cloth to remove oils or debris. -Disconnect accessories: Unplug any USB-C cables or chargers. Faulty charging cables can sometimes cause electrical interference that affects touch. -Remove the screen protector: If you use one, it may have developed a dead zone or is peeling, which can cause the iPad to stop reading your fingertips.
4. Reset All Settings: Go to Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPad > Reset > Reset All Settings. (This won't delete your data, but it will revert your system settings (like Wi-Fi passwords and wallpaper) to default.)
If the screen issues persist, please contact the Apple support, so this issue can be addressed on the one-year limited warranty basis. Just visit their website or call them here:
