I have insurance and s22 after some years broke. They replaced it with s23 and I'm not complaining at ALL.....

Not as good as their older models

I hate having to downgrade my phones for the newer models. here's a few pros and cons. Only pro I can think of is they got rid of the curved screen. Cons, the wakeup button on my old phone & tablets is on the top right of the unit, on this phone its bottom right, why move it? New phone no longer supports the Samsung weather app that was absolutely fabulous as well as a couple of other apps that I use. Texting keypad is also different for the older phone, had to download an upgrade that wasn't as good as the older keypad. Ringer/text notification on this phone sucks. Can't hear it unless the room is quiet. Got rid of the LED indicator light letting you know what's going on with the phone, like Charging, charged, text waiting to be read, missed phone call and so on. I went from the S9 to this phone, but really, I think the S5 is their best model so far.

The Galaxy S23 focuses on delivering cutting-edge performance, durability with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, and exceptional camera quality, among other upgrades. While the LED notification light is no longer included, features such as Edge Lighting and Always-On Display can provide alternative ways to stay updated with notifications. These can be customized in Settings under Display. If you enjoy lighting effects, you can set lights to appear around your screen and the camera cutout for notifications. To customize these settings, go to Settings, then Notifications, followed by Notification pop-up style. From there, select Edge lighting style and choose your preferred effects, such as Basic, Bubble, or Heart. You can also pick a color and adjust settings for transparency, width, and duration before tapping Done when finished. We encourage you to explore the Samsung Members app for tips and updates that may enhance your experience. Galaxy s23

I used to have a galaxy s9 and just bought a s23, I am enjoying it as the camera is alot better. The only functions I do miss is there is no jack to plug in for speakers/headphones and I liked being able to make a phone call from messages and with the s23 you have to back out of messages and go to the phone to call but other than that I am happy with my purchase!
I would recommend this to a friend!
