Heavy in the hand and that means it cuts through any and all meats - chicken, pork, sides of beef, you name it! This is heavy duty and has the same curved bolser for a sure grip and comfort and others in the Pro group. Made to least a lifetime and made in Germany to ensure it is a quality product! It also has a 4.5" sister cleaver, so if this one feels a bit too big or heavy, get the 4.5".

Perfect for chicken

I use a lot of whole chickens because it's the most economical way to purchase. The thickness and heft, along with the super sharp blade make the break down process pretty simple and painless. That curved bolster helps me hold the knife correctly. And the awesome German steel ensures it will remain sharp and last a lifetime.

Although I feel it could be a tad bit heavier, it gets the job done. A nice strong arm and clean cut right through bone in a cinch. I love Asian BBQ chicken on the bone, and I never have any issues chopping it up with this meat cleaver.

This is the most durable, hard core cleaver I have ever owned. It can go through a pork shoulder blade, a chicken back or even beef ribs. This is one item that you thought you didn't need but when you finally get it you'll ask yourself what did I ever do with out it.

This cleaver is certainly built for deconstruction!
I make my own dog food and this tool has made a not so pleasant chore a lot easier to handle.
Goes through Chicken and beef bone like it's butter.
Glad I brought this knife into my kitchen...it was well worth the money!

Really like that it's a little smaller Cleaver; makes it easy to cut chicken breasts, ribs, etc. The full tang and curved bolster feel comfortable in your hand. Another great product made in Germany.
