[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The metal part looks well made. The knife is also well balanced. However, the plastic handle looks old and scuffed. The knife was brand new in a sealed box. This is a characteristic of this particular model series. Great knives, just don't expect the handle to look equal to the price.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife now gets more use than our larger chef’s knife. It’s got a great weight and the size is awesome for all but the largest chopping or meat cutting tasks. I think my husband uses it almost every night for meal prep.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my Henckels four star set! I've had it for over 20 years and use at least one knife every day. They stand up to that kind of use and keep going, with a regular sharpening of course. I recently dropped one and the tip broke off. I was assured they would replace it, and they did! 5 stars to a company that stands by their products!!
This is my go-to knife. After receiving a set 40 yrs ago for our wedding, we've used them daily. The handle on this one finally broke and so I just replaced it. I'm in love all over again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This knife is super sharp, comfortable in the handle and easy to wield, can’t wait to add to this knife
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It well-balanced, and the clean design is, literally, clean -- there are no spaces between the handle and blade to collect whatever you're working on, which makes wash-up a breeze. Its incredible sharp.
Extremely good knife, worth the price. Good balance and grip. Always appreciate a bolster. I've found that my Zwilling's take a bit to sharpen, but hold a very sharp edge for a good while. I've got 6 or 8 or more Zwilling's, some 40 years old, absolutely love these knives.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The knife is sharp, sharp, sharp. We can start with that. It feels very nice in your hand, and is well balanced. On the 2-3 inches that are closest to the handle, the blade is flat, with no curve. That makes cutting something like herbs a little difficult; something where you'd want a bit of rocking motion. But I'd still buy it again and recommend it.
