I received this paring knife from my son for Christmas because I had asked for a new knife. He's one that reviews and studies before purchasing, and this is the one he gave me. I have been using it for 6 months now, and I really never knew what a pleasure it is to have a really good knife! I'm 71 years old and I should have found it before now. But definitely better late than never! I'm very pleased with how it well holds the edge and how easy it is to hold, and the size is perfect for most peeling, slicing, and chopping tasks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

I have owned Henkel knives all my life. I love them. They are over thirty years old and cut like brand new. I lost my paring knife and I am very happy to finally replaced it.

Bad quality

The knife was broken during regular usage in the kitchen by my wife within 11 months
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I added this to another Henckels paring knife I've been happily using for 20 years. Now, I have two. I ruined the handle in the 1980s and it just now fell apart. The blade is fine and I'll try to epoxy the handle back together. If successful I'll have THREE 4 inch paring knives. Absolutely the best, most reliable line of cutlery. It belong in your home.
