THIS KNIFE IS A THING OF BEAUTY AND A JOY TO USE . I DON'T DO MUCH COOKING BUT SINCE RECEIVING THIS CHEF'S KNIFE, I FIND MYSELF IN THE KITCHEN MORE OFTEN THAN NOT. I BELIEVE THE QUALITY OF THIS KNIFE IS OF THE HIGHEST ORDER AND SHOULD LAST AND LAST AND LAST !!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow! This knife goes above and beyond my expectations! The handle is perfect, cuts so smoothly! Love love love!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 40 years ago, when I was cooking professionally, I bought my first set of Henkel knives. I still use them every day at home, and keep them nice and sharp. Now circumstances have conspired to give us a smaller second home close to family we can visit. So. New knives. My 40 year old 10" chef's knife is a favorite; this 8" one is a close second.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This thing looks great and has cut through everything I've put in front of it like a dream! I love how the bolster is rounded. It keeps the spine from cutting into my finger. Only two small downsides: it should come with a cover of some sort and it's a bit more handle heavy than I expected. I feel like I naturally pick it up further down the handle than a usual pinch grip, but that's just nitpicking!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Feels quality made, design allows for a very comfortable pinch grip on the blade, long enough for majority of prep work but short enough for more precise work and longer jobs. I have long arms suitable for 10” knife but prefer this 8” for more control. Definitely on the pricey side for a chef knife but worth it if you can afford it. Not able to discuss the longterm durability as I just got it this week.
