I have been using it primarily to use with hot flashes. I am still in a learning mode. I find it helpful. I am frequently cold in the colder months and I have used it for help with feeling cold and finding it helpful. It heats up quickly and creates a feeling of warmth which does make me more comfortable. I am not sure at this time if it is helping with the hot flashes and will have a better idea after a few more weeks. It is bit bulky so I wear on my right arm on top of my wrist and have to rotate to use as I wear my apple watch on my left wrist. Since I am write handed it interferes with using my mouse.

I personally use two of these devices at a time to reduce the number of Hypokalemic periodic paralysis attacks I have. I would highly recommend it to anyone who has either minimal or severe needs of such a tool. I used the original, but this one, in my opinion, is far better. The look is not only nice, but has removed the issues I had with the original. Its improved cooling has truly been a life saver. :)

Easily control my own comfort. Heats whole body within minutes and cools body after a few minutes. Long battery life. Nice design, not bulky.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and own the Embr Wave 1 and 2.
I got the 2 because I loved the new design.
At first I thought I preferred the 1. I thought it cooled better as it had a larger surface area.
In actuality I was wrong. The 2 does an amazing cooling job.
I am always hot even living in Boston.
I work at a university that has a lot hills. I am always overheating. I also do professional acting and modeling. Sweating on set is not a good look. The Embr Wave 2 keeps me calm and cool.
I only use the cooling setting. Maybe one day I will try the warming setting, but I doubt it! My MS symptoms always make me hot. This device was life changing for me.

Way better with the 1st

I must say I am much happier with this new version, the size is way better. The only thing I don't like is that when I have to cool setting on for too long, the top of the device gets very hot. I like that it does help cool me down when I'm running around at work in a Casino, and its so hot inside. I haven't used the hot selection yet, because I'm so hot blooded. Cold selection is my favorite. I'm much happier with this new wave 2 better than the 1st one.

It's is horrible. It gets

It's is horrible. It gets extremely hot on the outside during cooling function. You can feel the 1st wave and than after that it's like it's not even working. I loved my 1st generation. Had high hopes for the second. Very very disappointed. Had to go back to 1st generation because the ember wave 2 does absolutely nothing.

I’ve had both Wave 1 and Wave 2 and they both were confusing to use. I still don’t understand them and I have a college degree. Better instructions are needed.
