I highly recommend this version, it takes about two weeks for your body to get used to it, but when it does the cooling / warming effect last all night if needed. It also works fantastic for the moments when you need a quick cooling or warming. It is much faster to charge and last's much longer on the charge from the first version. Try it for yourself!!

I mainly got this since I have raynauds, which recently has gotten worse. It’s kind of bulky, so I don’t put it on my wrist unless I’m actively using it. I have very thin wrists so it really stands out. I wish it was easier to get on and off (the magnet for the band is very strong so it’s sometimes difficult). I mostly use it for warming and find that I can’t turn it up too high or I feel like my skin is going to burn off, and I genuinely wonder how safe this is for skin, especially sensitive skin. I wish I felt the warming more widespread but it usually does stay in the arm I have the band on. I also noticed that there is a big difference in cooling/heating sensation based on how tightly you wear it- it feels much stronger and effective if you wear it really tightly, but this also isn’t very comfortable. Overall it’s a convenient thing to have but it still definitely has some flaws.

Great but only for specific people

I really like the product. It’s weird at first, but if you stick with it you’ll learn that your life is better off without it. There are certainly more features I’d love to see added to the app, but overall it is very simple once you understand the product is supposed to make you feel better not specifically to warm you up or cool you down. It is kind of a pain to use when at the computer, but overall it doesn’t get in the way and it looks pretty good (much better than v1 imo). I’d recommend this only to people who have a low threshold for temperature change or are more sensitive to small body temp changes. I will say the “warm” LED could be a little more red rather than the light orange, but overall I’m very happy with it.

Quit charging after one week of use

My husband got me the Embr Wave 2 as a gift, and I loved it! It really did seem to help my hot flashes. However, it quit charging after only one week. I'm disappointed that I only got to use it for such a short time before it died.

My family is still skeptical, do I care? Not at all! (Note to self: I’m the one suffering from hot flashes) I have received so much comfort using my Embr Waves. I “love” all improvements made to the Wave 2. It’s less clunky, more powerful & the comfort band is great. Having my Wave 2 is like carrying a sweater when I enter a cold store or office.

Good but not a game changer

I don't have the wave 1 version to compare so this is all first impression for me. As soon as I saw the wave 2 improvements I signed up.
I'm a big girl that gets hot easy, the cooling function is nice. It cools fast on your wrist but the cold feeling isn't throughout your body like I hoped. It does help but marginally. I think it's better suited for those that are cold natured. It gets super hot and that feeling spreads faster for me. The ladies I've shared it with are always cold and they really liked it.
I do like the ease of the button placement. The round face is smooth and heats up when in use but you don't really notice unless your arm is folded. The app isn't fully up yet, and it does have trouble finding my device a lot. So far the sleep program is my favorite. The cool down time frame max is 60 minutes before having to start again, it would be nice if I could program the buttons to a longer time in the app. As it comes now pressing the button twice gives you 10 minutes of hot or cold.

I got the comfort band because the metal one it comes with pinches my arm hair. I like the band but have to keep the brand really tight the keep it in position.
Overall I'm happy but not sure it's worth it if you mainly stay hot.
