I was very skeptical when I ordered this. But I was desperate to relieve my post menopausal hot/cold flashes. I take prescription medication to control these but still suffer from break through flashes quite frequently throughput the day. This product absolutely works! I am not kidding! Try it, you won't regret it.

The tech is very easy to use and set up. I personally would prefer a smaller device design but understand why it is the size it is as it helps to maximize the cooling effect. It is low profile which I like. Does a great job providing cooling shocks.

I love my embr wave 2 so much! I find myself really bad at temperature regulation I cycle between being too hot and too cold several times a day so having the ability to adjust that via my wave is perfect! I do wish it was possible to change the length and intervals of the temperature waves as I think that would make the device even better. I did drop it on the concrete once and it's doing just fine other than a small crack in the plastic on the back. The magnetic watch band it comes with is very comfortable. Just watch you don't get it caught on your backpack strap like I did that's how it ended up coming off my wrist and dropping to the ground. The charge lasts a very long time and the app makes it easy to adjust sessions and intensity of temperature as well as view the battery life of the watch even while charging. Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase and will continue to wear and use the wave 2 daily!

Wave 2: subtle and effective

I must admit that I was worried when I saw the smaller ceramic heating/cooling pad. I thought that it wouldn't be as effective at helping to cool me down, which is mostly what I use it for.
The cold, which I always turn ALL THE WAY UP (or down, as is the case) isn't perhaps as noticeable after the first few waves, but that's because it's working. I've had multiple instances where I didn't even need the full 10-minute session to cool down, which is awesome!
Since I generally use the Wave 2 for hot flash relief, I'm just now starting to try to use it to relieve stress, and to help me sleep.
One thing I'm not wild about is the need to constantly "connect" to the Wave 2, which is different from the 1st iteration. It's inconvenient, but perhaps is designed that way to spare battery life vs being constantly connected.
I'm also going through info on the phone app, and it's good to know that I can use the Wave 2 without the app. I generally lower the cooling temp and raise the heating temp every time I use the Wave 2, so it's clear that I can do that on the Wave 2 without the phone app.

I originally purchased the Wave 1 at the end of 2019, went to the beach, and stupidly shoved my arm in the water, which killed it. I waited a long time to get the Wave 2, and I love the smaller size, the thinner band, and the look and effectiveness. I also love the new charger, which is more convenient to use than the Wave 1 plug-in method.
