I love the idea behind this. I actually think this device has stopped a couple of hot flashes from happening, however I was hoping the nighttime cycle would work better for me. I seem to feel the cooling when it starts but not notice it after that. Either I just get used to it and don’t notice the cooling when it happens or it’s not cooling as well as it should. The outside tends to heat up even though I’ve never used the warming feature. I’ll admit, I’m still trying to get used to it, so I’m not giving up hope. Just not sure at this point.

I really enjoy my Embr Wave 2! For me, the cold setting isn’t quite as affective as the heat, but I’m usually cold anyway :). I love to use my Wave at night because I sleep so much more deeply. Unexpectedly, my other favorite time to use it is when my anxiety is high. It’s very soothing and really helps me calm down. My only real downside is that the thickness can sometimes be irritating because of its location on the inside of my wrist. But the only time it really bothers me is when I’m typing at work.

I purchased the Wave 2 as kind of a last resort, I was really struggling with hot flashes (and last winter cold flashes - who knew that was a thing?) that were impacting my daily life. As a cancer survivor I am unable to take any hormone supplements. I am so glad I tried this. It has exceeded my expectations and brought me great comfort and relief. I’ve already told my Primary Care doctor and Oncologist about the Wave 2 hoping it may help others in the same boat. It’s a great device. i love it.
