Dreaming of more relief

I have a lot of trouble getting overheated. And I live in Florida. So, it's hell. I am not getting the relief I hoped I would. It does help a little, but just when I feel it starting to help, the "wave" ends and I feel the heat from the little machine and the benefit is lost. So it's been this yoyo for the last few weeks. It does seem to help me sweat less overnight though.

First off let me say I was hesitant to spend the money, but boy am I glad I did! This little device is AMAZING! I initially purchased it to help with the sever hot flashes and night sweats I'm getting, it has helped so much. Make sure to download the app, the all night cool setting is a life saver. Over and above the cooling feature I've also found the warming feature to be quite helpful too. Surprised me to find how well it helps with the arctic breezes from the work air conditioner. Do yourself a favor - BUY THIS!!!

Love this product! I've been stalking it for years, but the price point wasn't appealing. I've been on medications to regulate my temperature and I got to the point where I needed something else and this was it! It's definitely worth the price point! I use it mainly for warmth but have used it for cooling at a fest in 90+ weather. My band came kinked, which pulls on my skin, that's the only reason I give it 4 stars.

LOVE the new Embr Wave 2!

LOVE the new Embr Wave 2! I bought one of the first Embr Wave personal thermostats... mostly because I was overheating quite often.
First, some thoughts on the original... that will lead to why I love the NEW & much improved one:)
The cooling features (of the original) were awesome. But, it was too bulky and the toggle button on the front would too easily get pushed when it was in a bag. Also the light was too bright for me to use it when sleeping... I'm light sensitive at night.
Nonetheless, I wore and enjoyed my first Embr Wave. (Even occasionally using the heating feature:) I shared how great it was with many others... but, really hoped they would create something smaller, with better design.
(Also, the metal would heat up a good bit after I had cooled down... which counter acted the "cooling" feature!!)
When I saw the new Embr Wave 2, I wanted one... especially liked the Rose color since I don't wear a lot of other jewelry. (So, I invested.)
The great thing about the Embr Wave is you have 30 days to return it... IF it does not work for you!!
What do I love about the New Embr Wave 2... now that I have it?
It's stylish, comfortable... REALLY cools me down (FYI, it does not literally chill me, but DOES help me recover from overheating much faster:)... it also has small buttons on side that will not be accidentally pressed.
Love the metal band... and it easily charges. (Much better than first edition.)
Haven't tried for sleep yet. Do like that I can see how much charge is left with my app. I have already recommended the Embr Wave 2 (even before I got mine)... and love sharing with others.
Honestly, in this strange world we live in now... it's great to have a bit more control over my temperature. It was worth every cent!

I have horrible hot flashes

I have horrible hot flashes and found the Wave 2 has helped make them more tolerable. Since mine hot flashes are so bad, I would say for anyone with a milder condition, the Wave 2 would be extremely helpful. I have yet to use the warming cycle, since I am already too hot most of the time, but based on my experience with the cooling cycle, I would think it would be most helpful. It is a very expensive device, but if it lasts for several years I would say it is worth the cost. Time will tell! :)

I had the previous generation

I had the previous generation and it had a lot of issues, so I was thrilled when it randomly broke and I could upgrade. The Wave 2 fixes all the issues I was irritated by! I use it mainly for cooling and I wish it were even cooler! But it doesn't heat up at the end like the old one, so I'll take it. It can just run again.
