Works as it claims, just think about how parents used to run cool water on your wrists if you were overheated in the summer... within a short few minutes you'd feel much cooler. Same idea

My boyfriend purchased the Embr Wave 2 for me because I have horrible night sweats and hot flashes due to a hysterectomy.. this thing is a life-saver! I set the presets to turbo cool and hot flash 10 and I kick on the all night cool when I go to bed. I don't know that I've ever slept so good since I had the hysterectomy In 2012.

I wear the Embr Wave all day every day aside from charging. For everything from getting cold (I've gone through chemo and have numerous health problems) to hot flashes. It's amazing!
