Was so excited for this since my body doesn’t regulate temperature well but the fact it only heats or cools for 3-5 seconds max and then takes a 10-15 second break is really annoying and just made my temperature issues worse. They claim doing it this way is the best way scientifically to cool down and heat up but as a doctor I have no idea what makes them think that🤷♂️.
They really should have a continuous mode because it otherwise would be great because it does cool and heat well but the intermittent crap ruins it
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. We cool or warm in waves primarily to prevent acclimation--like when you jump into a cold pool at it stops feeling cold within a few moments. Your body is really good at ignoring constant temperature vs. intermittent temperature, so delivering temperature in waves helps to keep sending those signals. We've got a variety of different waveforms with different on/off patterns that you can try out in the app to see what your body responds to best, so we'd encourage you to play around.
At the end of the day, temperature is personal, and Embr Wave isn't going to be right for every person. We hope you give it a good few weeks to see how it goes, but you can return your Wave for any reason within 60 days if you decide you're just not into it!

I have bought this 2 weeks ago and my quality of sleep has improved exponentially.I fall asleep in minutes compared to tossing and turning for hours. And I sleep through the night which isn’t the easiest being a post menopausal woman! I have recommended your product to several people because I think it could improve their lives in so many different ways!

This little device is a life changer! I am autistic and more sensitive to heat than the average person, especially when it is humid. Being overly hot will cause me to have an autistic meltdown every time. This means that it is impossible for me to fully enjoy events that take place in warm weather (unless I can swim). I've been using my Embr Wave 2 for a few weeks now and I can't imagine going back to not using it. I am able to be in the hot weather without having a meltdown! I can actually be HAPPY in hot weather. I still don't like being hot and/or sweaty and will avoid it if I can, but when I can't and I can use my Embr, I can now bear it.
A couple of other notes: I have noticed improvements in my sleep quality when wearing it at night using the cooling function. I've used the different settings (depending on the situation) to help with anxiety. The fireplace setting is nice when it is chilly and damp. I would highly recommend this little thing.
The only drawback is that I can't use the app to change the settings when there is no internet/cell data available. You can set two presets on it that don't need the app, but I typically need 4 different settings to choose from. In my neck of the woods, I can only use the app in a place with WiFi. The cell signal is pretty much non-existent in 90% of the area.

Doesn't actually help with hot flashes, overheats when using the nighttime setting, battery doesn't last very long, and it's started overheating on me when I've only had it for a few months.

This is a great product. I use it daily at work to regulate my thermal balance. I sort packages and mail for mail carriers and our air conditioning is. Not the best. This product really helps.
