I was very skeptical knowing the placebo effect. It worked! It doesn't completely remove hot and cold flashes but drastically reduces the severity. The trick is to be aware of the signs of a flash coming on. The sooner I press the button the less drastic the flash is. I'm now able to get through the flash without ripping off my clothing in a panic. Thank you so much! My husband thanks you too!

It heats and cools but I only feel it at the unit location on my wrist. This is a localized solution, not a whole body one, especially around the neck and face, which is where I feel hot flashes.

Some people's bodies respond to Embr Wave super fast and they're able to get that full-body relief right from the get-go; but other people's bodies need a little more time to adjust before the Wave feels fully effective. Still waking up soaked

It is not working for me I was really hoping it would work at night because I wake up constantly sweating from night sweats but I’m still waking up sweating the first time I used it it did cut off a hot flash but it doesn’t work every time and certainly doesn’t work at night
