Took a long time to get it.

I just received it. I was not aware I would have to pay additional duty which started the experience somewhat poorly. I have only had it a day. *Canada it’s even more expensive.
Based on the cost I’m not certain it was a good choice at this point. I’m going to ask to extend my 30 days from yesterday.
Initial feedback is that it’s a bit big and clunky. The band isn’t comfortable. Not sure how I’ll wear my watch and this device.
The app is good, the different settings are good.
I’ll need more time to see if it helps.

Good Relief from Hot Flashes

My hot flashes are out of control, mostly at night, and wake me up several times throughout the night, disrupting my sleep. The Embr Wave works pretty fast to stem or stop my hot flashes, but only if I can get the Embr Wave activated quickly when I first feel the flash coming on. If I miss it then the hot flash comes on but the Embr Wave seems to reduce the time of the hot flash. I use it at night with a small battery operated fan and between the two I get relief a lot quicker. I also wear the Embr Wave when I ago out during the day and use it when the occasional hot flash starts up.

Helen, we're sorry you're having issues with your Embr Wave! Two quick things to check: 1) Make sure you take your Wave out of "ship mode" when you first receive it by pressing the blank button once. 2) If it isn't responding after you do that, you may need to charge the device before using it. (Be sure to line up the two gold dots on the bottom of the Wave with the two gold pins on the charger! The glowing green light tells you it's charging, and the light turns solid green when fully charged, which takes about 2 hours.) Disappointed!

Doesn't really cool me off when I'm having a hot flash. I still have to turn the fan on. If also Doesn't warm me up either. I was kinda disappointed. I was expecting more that what it gave.

Some people do find that it takes a couple of weeks for their bodies to adjust before they really start to feel the full effectiveness of the Wave—and that it works better the more they use it! We think the design is great, spectacular. But the cooling portion is highly effective at first and then….nothing. Literally nothing can be felt throughout a 60 min session aside from when you begin the session. We think this is a fantastic idea and perhaps with more time it will be perfected and can be as effective as it promises itself to be. Cooling for 8 mins out of 60 is not really ideal.

In love with my Wave2!

I am fighting breast cancer and part of the treatment is suppressing estrogen in my body, so hot flashes were killing me slowly and not letting me sleep…until I got my Wave2. Since first night, I woke up 5 times, press the bottom 5 times and fell asleep each time right away! I feel like I have my life back.
