I wanted to like this device but it has not been what I expected. First thing is, it should automatically start to cool once it senses that you are hot or having a hot flash. Secondly, if you are one that has a physical job the fear of losing the device is nerve-wracking. The magnetic band does not have a stong hold and is constantly loosing causing it to slip down to my hand. Thirdly, I have already scratched my device. There should be some type of protective case to go over the top like for smartwatches. Overall the device is ok but not worth the price.

Product Works Well, Could Use Minor Improvements

I would give the product itself a 4.5/5 stars. It works fairly well compared to how I've heard it advertised. I mainly use the cooling effect, which does provide some relief, but it's more of a "takes the edge off" thing than providing a total body cooldown. I occasionally use the warming feature, and I feel that the warming feature works better/more quickly than the cooling feature. Unfortunately, I air on the "always too hot" side of things, but I think this product would work really well for anyone who's on the colder side. I have the Wave 2, and it's a little bulky. If it's possible to make it a little slimmer, that would be ideal since it's recommended to wear on the underside of the wrist and tends to get in the way when I'm working.
The reason I gave 3/5 instead of 4/5 is that changing out the band was an absolute nightmare. It took me an hour to do what should have taken a few minutes. The bands are held with watch pins, and the band kit comes with a couple of extra pins and a spring bar tool. Getting the band off was easy enough, but getting the new one on was a frustrating experience which included watch pins shooting across the room and a lot of cursing. I lost all 4 pins (the 2 original and 2 extras) at some point and managed to recover 2 of them. I would have just dealt with the original band if I knew it was going to be such a pain to switch it out.
The company should keep in mind that there are consumers (myself included) using this product to help manage chronic illnesses and may lack the dexterity needed to switch the bands out. If there was an easier system or the option to choose a particular band at the time of purchase, I would definitely rate at least 4 stars overall.

It stopped working after 6 weeks. I can't return it and they keep putting me off. I just want my money back but it doesn't look like that will happen.

Was skeptical at first but it seems to be helping me greatly I only wish I had found out about this device sooner.
Had to put it on my left arm I am righthanded I use it for cooling and just received it only three days ago.
I like the color and style anything that can calm down these hot flashes I am all for, so far I am a very happy customer.

Very effective

I find the Embr Wave 2 quite effective, especially for staving off the hot flashes. If I activate the device as soon as I feel one coming on, it stops. Even if I don’t catch it in time, the Embr Wave does seem to lessen the severity and duration. I also like the warming function. The only complaint I have is that it is bulky under my wrist and I bang it on counters and desktops. I wish it had a slimmer design. Overall, I am quite happy with it.

Bien heureuse de la EMBR Wave. Me permet de gérer mes bouffées de chaleur et ainsi arrêter l'hormonothérapie.
L'application Web me permet de calibrer le froid et/ou le chaud selon mes besoins. Je programme l'applucation et gere ainsi mes nuits et me repose tellement bien
Par contre je me demande quelle sera sa durabilité car quand elle fonctionne toute la nuit le boîtier devient chaud?
