My Embr Wave 2 is very stylish and keeps me from constantly overheating. I thought I was all done with hot flashes, but a diagnosis of breast cancer last year means that I need to take a hormone blocking medication for the next five years. The main side effect of the medication is hot spells. Now when they start, I just push the button on my wave and I don’t end up getting near as hot, plus the hot spells are much shorter in duration ! I even use the 30-minute « fall asleep - cool » option in the app to help me get to sleep at night.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018 and I went through the entire gamet of treatments. My breast tissue was removed in 2019 and in 2021 I had a full hysterectomy. Since my diagnosis I had suffered from hot flashes and I had resolved to live with this condition until my husband found the Ember Wave 2! I'm giving it 5 stars because nothing compares to it. Sure, there could be some feature updates and I am sure there will be but in my opinion, there is absolutely nothing like it on the market.
I use this every day, all day long for my hot flashes. If I catch them right before they come on, it will stop them completely. Otherwise it just helps with the intensity. The battery last surprisingly long considering how often I use it. I can usually go 2 days without charging but I do not use it at night. I did a few times and it did help but by morning the battery was out and it left me without it during the day.

Wasn’t expecting much but it worked for me. The device is ugly and big, so I use it for the 30 mins before bed time and if I woke up in the middle of night because of hot flash, just double press the button, I can go back to sleep majically. Not sure what it is, it does help me to go to sleep easily. Give it a try… not harm at all

Truly a life changer

After still having severe hot flashes well into my late sixties, I was no longer able to take the hormone patches. As a result, I just had to put up with multiple hot flashes every day and almost every night. I would wake up at night literally drenched in perspiration from a hot flash.
And then I discovered the Embr Wave. From the first day after receiving it, no more hot flashes!! As soon as one starts, I turn on the Wave and it stops the hot flash in its tracks. I use the night mode every night and now no more waking up soaking wet. When I said this was a life changer, I really meant it. The overnight program didn't seem to work for me. I still woke up about every 1 - 1 1/2 hours. So I am just using the button to cool me when I wake up. It is nice to have a way to stop the hot flash when it occurs. By the way, I am 75 and have been having hot flashes for 20+ years.
