Not magic, but pretty darn good!

The Embr Wave 2 is helpful in alleviating hot flashes. I had (unfairly) hoped for absolute magic, and of course it couldn't deliver that - I still have hot flashes, and although the device gives more immediate relief than anything else I still deal with that discomfort several times per day. The main thing I hoped was that it would help my sleep - I have insomnia to start with, and once I wake with a hot flash its very difficult to go back to sleep. Unfortunately the "all night cooling" really doesn't work for me in terms of preventing hot flashes, and I find the fact that I need to be conscious of always keeping my arm with the device outside of the covers kind of stressful (I tend to wake up when I accidentally put that arm under the covers). So, I wear it all night but just use the default cooling when I need it. Basically, the Wave 2 is better than anything else I've tried - it just hasn't done what I'd hoped, which is to mostly get rid of my hot flashes, especially at night.
Otherwise I would echo others' comments - it looks nice (though is bulky when typing on a keyboard), it charges quickly, and its easy to use.
One suggestion - it would be great if the app allowed even more customization of sessions. If I could create a cooling session which had a longer period of cooling (say 15 to 20 seconds) right at the beginning, that would be great for me - the default cooling makes me linger uncomfortably hot for too long as it "waves" off after the first short burst of cool.

This is amazing! I have gotten more relief from this than any medication I have tried over the years. I had a hysterectomy at 27 and I'm now 54. That's a lot of years to suffer with hot flashes. They get worse every year. I would suggest anyone who severely suffers from hot flashes to get one of these. I had to go to my doctor to get a letter of necessity for my FSA to cover it. But FSA did cover it. I had to buy it and within 3 days they put the money back into my account. It is well worth it. I use it multiple times during the day and every night. If I wake up at 2:00 in the morning having a hot flash I press the button within a few minutes it starts to go away. Amazing that is the only word I have for this is amazing. Thank you for creating this for women suffering with severe hot flashes. I never leave without it it is on my arm unless it is charging. Also I want to commend you on the charging of this device. A full charge will last me 3 days or more.

It is easy to use, etc. But I have not found it effective in cooling me from hot flashes. So I have returned tool within the 30 day window.

A nice option

The Embr Wave 2 can be helpful in staving off the onset of a hot flash when falling asleep or during stressful conversations, and can help decrease the impact of smaller less intense hot flashes… it’s not a miracle option for the big sweaty monsters, even when set on the highest cold level - those still require a good old fashioned ice pack!

I’m constantly trying to keep this Amber Wave connected to my Bluetooth I follow all the steps to do this and nothing works it is so frustrating especially after spending all this money
