I'm SO Glad I Tried It!

For about 3 years, I've struggled with hot flashes that have increased in frequency and severity over the past few months. As a result of this, I've taken to carrying a hand fan with me everywhere I go. Literally, EVERWHERE! I have one at my bedside, there's one in the glove box of my car, in my work bag, at my desk at work, and even in purses that I don't regularly carry. Those who share my struggle might agree that it's highly embarrassing to be seen always fanning yourself, even when outdoors. At night. Even, though it's 50 degrees out!!
I didn't want to take medication for the condition, but the increasing torment was getting to be too much to bear. I watched the Embr Wave TV ads circulate with skepticism; I didn't believe that it could work. In fact, I decided to give the device a try just so I could write a spicy review about how it's a fraud. However, after just 3 days of use, I'm happy to report that IT WORKS! Don't get this unit expecting to see your hot flashes disappear altogether -- they probably won't. However, I discovered that if I hit that little button as soon as I feel one coming on -- and we all know that feeling -- the EFFECTS were greatly minimized, and each episode LESS intense. What used to be a 3 - 5 minute 'sweat feast,' is now just a 1 minute spell of mild perspiration! This, I can live with! Also, I sleep longer and a bit more soundly, because I'm not waking up in 30-minute intervals just to kick off the bed covers! The flashes are much more manageable and I feel almost like my old self. I'm so grateful for this delightful little hunk of technology!

When my EW came I was not having a hot flash, but was interested if it was charged. I put it on and in less than 10 minutes my noise got cold. Have been wearing since every day, all day and night. LOVE THIS!! When I feel a hot flash starting I touch the cooling button and BAM! Hot flash stops AND the feeling of tension goes away. Was easy to get used to and using at night in my sleep is no problem. Easy to program to phone to change settings. So far I have told my primary Dr and another woman who both said they were going to check this out. I hope they do.

The only thing I don’t like is the band, it snags the small hairs on my arm and wrist area. Need to get a different band but overall an excellent product!

I’ve had mine for a little over two weeks and I can say it works wonders for me. The moment when that cooling sensation hits my wrist, my anxiety reduces and I relax. Hot flashes don’t last nearly as long. They are right, it takes a little time to get use to it, just be patient. I have gotten so attached to it, I miss it when it’s on the charger. The best part is I’ve been sleeping 7-8 hours again. I highly recommend!!

I know that when I get anxious about something that triggers the hot flashes so I tap the button when I feel like that and it seems to prevent the flash from running its full course. The night setting doesn’t help prevent the sweats. I find tapping it before I go to bed and when I wake up during the night works better.
I am off from work this week so stress is less. I still have to have to monitor it further in my work setting. to see if it will work when I am teaching and a flash comes on.

Life changing

This Embr Wave 2 is fantastic! I finally been able to sleep the night through. No more covers on covers off. I work in a hot environment, so having this for work is awesome! Wish I would have known about this 5 years ago, as I’ve been suffering from hot flashes for a least that long. It has changed my life. Actually looking forward to summer this year because I have the Embr Wave 2. Thank you for this amazing product!
