The Embr Wave is a very unique device. It sends a “minty” sensation to the nerves on your wrist. This sensation then tells your brain that it is cooling. For me, it kinda works. My body is always hot, even to people who are near me. The wave does help cool me some. I believe I heat it more than it cools me. I have to constantly change its position on my wrist to be able to feel anything from it. I also sweat underneath it.

I’m loving my Embr Wave. It was worth the wait. Anytime I need that burst of cooling sensation, it’s just a press of a button away. I use it day and night. This has worked wonders for me. I still getting familiar with the different settings but can’t wait til it gets cooler and I can experience the warmth that it produces. This is the best little tool, I can’t describe how much It make me feel. But I’m definitely happy that I made the purchase and I am telling everyone I know about it.

I’m still on the fence about this. I don’t really feel like it does a whole lot for me and for the cost, I really expected it to do more. The warming part feels like it gets really hot but only stays on for a bit and then it’s gone. The cooling feature seems to do better. Thanking about returning it.

It's working better than I expected. I can feel the coolness when I need it. Only 5hing is the battery doesn't seem to last very long. I'm having to charge it more often. At least once every 2 days. Other than that I love it. It's helped me through my hot flashes.

Cooling is OK

I suffer from hyperhidrosis and hot flashes. The cooling sensation is not entirely giving me the response I was hoping for. When I turn it up all the way, it almost feels like a burning sensation rather than being very cold. I almost wish there was an option to keep the cooling sensation on completely, rather than coming and going in bursts. I am going to give it some more time, but my initial thoughts are it works just OK. For the price, I wanted it to work better. I have not tried the warming setting and probably won't need to.

I was a skeptic when I bought the Wave 2, but I've been converted into a total believer. The One-Hour "Fall Asleep Cool" is fantastic. The random cold waves lull me to sleep and when I inevitably wake up from a hot flash at the dreaded 2 a.m., I can reset the One-Hour easily because I've programmed one of the buttons for this setting. I hate to take it off to charge, but honestly, the charging goes super fast, so if it needs charging I do so while I take a shower. Getting dressed usually provokes a sweaty hot flash, so I put it back on while getting dressed.
It's getting to be cooler weather now, and I actually used the heat setting this morning when I decided to wear sandals and was freezing. Wow!! I love it! Thanks for the new design. It's perfect.

Cooling and Chronic Urticaria

The Embr Wave 2 is a huge leap forward from version one. It fits comfortable on my tiny wrist and I'm not constantly hitting the corner of it and cracking the ceramic plate, which was a weekly occurrence with the old version. Changing to a circular design was brilliant.
I can't speak to the heat function because I only use it for cooling. I have an autoimmune disease and chronic urticaria, and my body cannot regulate my temperature, which leads to massive body-covering hives.
Very few things help, but the Embr is a game-changer. I can actually leave the house when I'm wearing it because I know that if things start to get out of control, my Wave 2 can rein it back in long enough for me to get home. I can attest that it is much more effective and comfortable than version one (which was honestly a lifesaver).
The Wave 2 also has a wider variety of programming options, and nothing made me happier than the 60 minute cooling setting. I'm not exaggerating when I say that the Embr saved my life while I've been going through tremendously difficult medical issues.
