An intriguing bit of tech

The Embr Wave 2 provides heating and cooling sensations which can really affect your comfort in a good way. The size is similar to a watch and it's easy to use. There is room for some improvement in the app but it does continue to be updated. Battery life is strong and can run for an overnight session.
The second gen tech is very impressive and makes you wonder how it will continue to evolve.

Cool idea

I’m one of those people who has issues with staying warm during the winter; I also despise humid summers, so thought this gadget would be a great idea. So far, it doesn’t really keep me warm or cool, except for where it sits on my wrist.
The look is nice, but scratches easily because the temperature device is on the underside of your wrist. It connects very easily to the iPhone app, but disconnects very easily, too. Charges pretty quickly as well.

which idiot designed the recharging change?

The previous Embr was charged using a simple micro USB. Easy, common, find a charging station anywhere. However, with the new Embr some nitwit decided that something designed to be used by menapausal women needed to have an external charging platform - a tiny little disc - with a if you are not exactly in place it doesn't work contact point - to really complicate their lives. Firstly this annoys me because I cannot charge the embr other than with this disc. Have Embr forgotten people work. People travel. People go out and use their device and when it needs to be recharged they have to risk losing the charging disc by hauling it from place to place or wait until they get home. WHY DID YOU DO THIS? Very not happy with the recharge. The actual useage- function - I can't report on since charging the frekin thing is so much work I've almost given up on it.

I thought I liked the Wave 1, but then I got the Wave 2—and what a game changer! The shape and design are much sleeker. It seems to pack more punch with respect to temperature delivered, too. I am so much more comfortable with my Wave 2.
