I really want to give this device 5 stars but it seems to have a few glitches to work out, perhaps in the third generation. I prefer cool settings but when I use the buttons on the device, it’s never at max cool. I always have to adjust the temp from the app. Also, the long term cooling setting doesn’t seem to help regulate my body temp overnight. The best results I get are from the hot flash setting only. Also, The long term setting is defaulted To 7 hrs. There’s no way to adjust it for longer.

Hi Shelley! It sounds like you need to save your session settings and then make sure you’re assigning the saved sessions as your presets. We recommend renaming your saved sessions to make them easier to identify when you go to select your button presets. As an example, if you want a 9-hour All Night session at level 4 cooling, you could rename it “Favorite Sleep.” Then just find “Favorite Sleep” in your Last Used sessions and tap Preset to assign it one of your two buttons. That button will now go right to All Night cooling set for 9 hours at level 4. If you set the other button to Hot Flash cooling, then you can quickly start a Hot Flash Relief session if you wake up at night (and switch right back to All Night cooling when you’re done if you want to). This did absolutely nothing for me. I'm super disappointed. I had high hopes for this as I really struggle with hot flashes. It's not worth the money at all.

Love the new Wave

I love my new Embr Wave. I suffer from severe POTS and other problems. The cooling and heating features help so much when I am having circulation problems or over heat.

Embr 2 vs. Embr 1

I love the size of the Embr 2 over the original, but I liked the amount of “real estate" the original gave me on my skin to heat or cool. However, the original was so large that I wouldn't wear it. So the Embr 2 is by far my choice. I wear it everyday now and enjoy the instant comfort I receive.

I love the second generation

I love the second generation of wave! It's super easy to use and the new shape is super attractive. It works the same way and I feel like it is a bit more sturdy without corners catching on things.
The app works beautifully and it's been really helpful when I'm in full PPE and sweating.
I have two things i do wish were different. I do wish it didnt need a charging dock, it makes it a little harder to charge on the go. I also feel like the ceramic element is smaller, which is not a huge deal but might matter if you like a larger area of your wrist warmed or cooled.
Both generations are excellent, this one is just the sleeker version.

I use the cooling function to help with hot flashes and it does work if I start it fast enough. The all night cooling has helped me sleep better. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who has hot flashes.
