Menopause Relief at Last: Embr Wave 2 is a Game-Ch

I received the Embr Wave 2 as a birthday gift about a month ago, and it has been a game-changer for dealing with the hot flashes that come with menopause. Hot flashes have been the worst part of my experience, but since using the Embr Wave, I’ve noticed a significant improvement. While I still experience some powerful flashes, the extreme sweating and discomfort have been greatly reduced. I also don’t need to use my fan nearly as much, and my sleep has improved because I’m not waking up from overheating. I’ve told everyone I know about it—too bad there’s no word-of-mouth reward program, because I’d definitely have earned one by now!

CRPS pain & Embr Wave 2

I suffer from CRPS and one of the worst side effects is burning pain like shouldering under the skin. The was aware of the first wave and always wondered if this devise would be helpful. When I saw the Wave 2 advertisement I decided I will try it. Much to my surprise and delight the Embr Wave 2 does provide some relief and that of is all I ask for from any sort of pain relief. I am looking forward to long term use to discover just how helpful the Embr Wave 2 will be! I am considering getting a second Wave 2 for non stop and continuous relief when it is time to charge.

Genuinely improves my quality of life, kind company

First of all, support this company because the CEO supports and is responsive to a group of us young women under 40 with breast cancer (so many of us are in early menopause and struggle with hot flashes). That type of kindness says a lot about the founder and the company’s values.
Secondly, it works. My embr wave goes everywhere I go, and I call it my external thermostat. Over the past year I have probably had 5 or 6 people buy one after seeing mine. I have hot flashes (my oncologist classed them “extremely severe”) from my breast cancer treatment and being so thermally disregulated is a huge pain. This little guy gives me a convenient coping mechanism on my wrist. If I feel a hot flash coming on, I just hit the cool button twice and this goes to work and cuts the intensity of my hot flash in half. It makes the difference between being able to discretely continue to pay attention in a meeting at work instead of fanning myself with a notebook and looking distraught.
The heat feature is honestly great, too! If we’re out to dinner and sit outside on a brisk evening or if I just get a chill in the house, the warmth makes me feel so much more comfortable.
I will say It doesn’t work for everyone - some people who have tried mine feel the temperature just on their wrist and it doesn’t make them feel warmed up or cooled down overall. For others, they find the heat or cold too intense. It’s important to try it out, but if it works for you it is worth it 1000 times over.

Great device, it works!

I purchased the Embr Wave 2 after much research and contemplation. I’m a 43 year old woman with terrible perimenopausal hot flashes and cold flashes that aren’t relieved easily.
I was a bit skeptical at first because how can something so simple work so well right? Well let me tell you, this small little thing is a life saver!! When I’m at work (Nurse) and one of my hot flashes comes on, I can now mid-task press a button and begin to cool down. It’s not a miracle device and doesn’t stop the hot flashes completely or take them away completely but rather over time I’ve noticed I can tell when one is starting and use the Embr wave 2 to help mitigate the symptoms and keep the unbearable ones under control.

I am a happy user of the Device for two weeks.. It is a great relief at this stage of life. But since we expect great performance from every device, we must also mention the disadvantages: 1. short battery life. On the day when I returned late from the event, where the device did its job perfectly, at night it was already unable to work.. 2. One day the device disconnected from the application and it took some time to recover the connection with all its advantages. Since I live in Latvia in Europe, any technical problems seriously worry me. Because solving them would be time-consuming and complicated 3. It would be great if the device could show at least the clock...

Thanks for this feedback! Battery life can vary based on a lot of different factors, so if you have a long day and then also want to use the Wave at night, we recommend trying to sneak in a partial charge or two if you don't have time for a full charge before bedtime. We're always trying to optimize the things that are most important to users (powerful temperature, battery life, water resistance, size) which means some "nice to have" things (like a clock) didn't make the cut!
