A real happiness ! my hot flashes that are due to medical treatment are mastered and I finally sleep at night . After 15 days of use, I wonder why I did not order it earlier! I also appreciate that it can act on my chills especially when I draw my illustrations ! no need to go get my hot water bottle. I really recommend embr wave 2 !

Oh no! We hate to hear you're having trouble finding relief. Please don't get discouraged if you're not seeing results right away. For some users, it can take a few weeks before they start to notice a difference—but they often say it continues to work better and better the more they use it! If you haven't yet, experiment with different modes in the app. You might find that the Stress or Comfort modes might work better compared to the Hot Flash modes. We'd also recommend switching between the 3/5/10 Hot Flash sessions to see what feels best. I run hot at night, so i bought this in hopes that it would cool me throughout the night and help me sleep better. I was only able to use it for one night though because, unexpectedly, It caused a rash on my wrist that took a week to heal.

Zoey, thanks for letting us know about this. It sounds like this might be contact dermatitis, which can happen with material worn close to the skin for long periods (often if you accidentally get soap or dirt trapped underneath the band, for example). If you experience irritation, we recommend making sure your wrist is dry when you put on your Wave and regularly wiping down the parts of the Wave that touch your skin with a microfiber cloth or alcohol wipe to keep them clean.

I’ve had this bracelet since last Christmas, and although the little cool shots feel nice, the length of time in between each cool shot is too long. I wish it was a steady cool shot that lasted as long as my hot flash. I find I have to also be blasted with a fan in order to find relief

Thanks for your feedback! We know it might seem like constant cooling would be best, but it turns out our bodies actually respond more strongly to changes in temperature than constant temperature, which your body quickly starts to tune out (think of how fast you get used to a cold pool after you’ve been in it a minute or two). If you haven’t already, we recommend experimenting with different types of cooling sessions in the app! Longer sessions will have gentler, more sustained cooling pulses with longer rest periods in between vs. a shorter sessions which will have a more rapid pattern of quick cooling pulses. If you find that you prefer cooling that's a bit zippier, we recommend trying out something shorter like the 3- or 5-minute Hot Flash Relief sessions! (Pro Tip: You can assign your favorite cooling mode to one of your Wave’s buttons using the Preset function, which means you’ll be able to repeat that session just by pressing the button on your Wave.)

I’ve had the wave for two weeks now and have definitely noticed a difference! When I start to get a hot flash I turn it on and the hot flash goes away. I used to get flashes that would cause me to sweat. Since using the wave I have not had a severe hot flash. I’m not 100% sure if it’s the wave or if my hot flashes are on a lull right now but either way the wave definitely helps. I would highly recommend it for anyone going through severe hot flashes.

Great for heating for chronically being cold

I got my Wave Band for chronic coldness due to chronic illness mainly for the warming function and within a few hours after receiving it I could tell it's worth the quite hefty price. It does not completely eliminates the need to use other heating devices such as a hot water bottle for my feet at night to be able to sleep but still is a great addition. The options to personalise your warming or cooling sessions are great. Also the personalised preset function for the buttons. With those you don't even have to be constantly connected with your phone as I don't like having to have blutooth and location on all the time. However I didn't really expect the warmth to pulse rather than be continuous and honestly would get more use out of a continuous warming session.
For the cooling feature I have to say it's great for very short sessions and not while sleeping under the sheets or with sleeves over it as the wave itself heats up a lot. While the undersite keeps pulsing cool the top heats up bc the coolimg seems to use a lot of power. It not only heats up small spaces like under sleeves it also seems to drain the battery a lot more than the warming. For me its not a big downside bc I mainly use it for warming anyways but could be a big downside if you want to mainly use it for cooling. One last thing to mention is that the first few days it was a challenge to figure out where to wear it. I can't wear it on my dominant arm bc it causes my hand to start tingeling when laying my arm on the device (from the pressure not the temperature). On the other arm I already wear a watch which made it a bit full. First I placed it further up the arm over the watch but that wasn't a great placement for the temperature. Then I placed it under the watch closer to my wrist/hand but as you are adviced to place the buttons away from your hand the band of my watch constantly touched the buttons and turned them on or off. I even tried switching my watch to the other arm but hated it :D so in the end I ended up rotating my wave to the buttons facing my hand which now works great for me. Only downside is that my watch rubbing against the wave started scratching and discolouring the area where they touch immediately. I don't mind though.

I love my Embr Wave 2! The all-night cool allows for a peaceful sleep, something I haven't experienced in years due to hot flashes. I wake up refreshed and ready to go! This alone is worth having one; yet it gets better. With a touch of a button, I can cool a hot flash before I become a puddle. It doesn't stop them, but it definitely diminishes their intensity.
