[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this hand blender a few times now and I'm happy I got it! Prior to this I was pouring my hot soup recipe into a blender which was very inconvenient and dangerous. This hand blender has been a very helpful tool for mixing soups. It is powerful and so easy to use. The lock button only needs to be pressed 1x then just hold another button to continue mixing. The blender has a strong pull to it so it's not easy to come up out of the hot soup. It's comfortable to hold and really does an excellent job blending. It disassembles for easy cleaning.

I was very disappointed that there were two buttons that I must press to blend. My other stick blender only had a start button and this one is much more difficult to operate.

The LOCK mechanism is very poorly designed. I either need to have two thumbs to operate this stick blender or I need to get used to holding the power cord in my mouth because not having two thumbs, the only way to operate this blender is to have the power cord face me and get in the way between me and what I am trying to blend.
I have several ideas about how you can redesign the LOCK mechanism on this stick blender if you should be interested in hearing me out.

I really like this blender. I had an older model for 11 years that worked great until it got dropped. It was just one speed and did not have the lock safety button feature. I do like the 2 speed option but do not like having to push the safety button and the run button at the same time. It is great blender though. We use it multiple times a day. I have a cat that was born without a tongue, so I have to puree her food and bottle feed her.

Works well enough... should have listened to the negative reviews regarding the lock button. It has to be pushed in to turn on then it can be let go of, but any repositioning or pressure taken off the power button requires that you go through the start up proceedure of holding down both buttons at the same time again. This makesmaking the one handed operation awkward.

The blender is great. I bought it to replace my Hamilton Beach stick blender. This one seems like it won't break since it's all metal instead of plastic. However, storage is an issue. It comes with a cup (that I don't see myself using) and there's no way to store it. I'll have to find a drawer somewhere. My old one had a storage box that it came in. That would be really nice.
